Hey! I’m Alex :D
Hello! I’m Alexander Aguilar. I’m a programmer and a bit of an artist as well. The header image I made myself in Blender!
I started programming in my early teens because I had a huge interest in making games. I didn’t really have anyone to show me the ropes so I took it upon myself to grab whatever books I could find to teach myself.
From there, I spent a lot of time playing with code and pursuing 3D art. I would go on to make my own little game engine with DirectX and found programming to be so much fun that I wanted to turn it into a career!
I would go on to pursue post-secondary education by enrolling in Brooklyn College located in NYC for a B.S. in Computer Science. With that said, I am excited to announce that I finished my degree in June 2021 with the honor Summa Cum Laude!
Since graduating, I like to spend much of my free time continuing to study programming and exploring technology as a whole.
